Dr. Friedman is the founder and CEO of Stratfor (www.stratfor.com), a company he began in 1996. Stratfor is now a leader in the field of private intelligence. Dr. Friedman guides Stratfor’s strategic vision, helping shape the firm’s long-range geopolitical forecasts as well as overseeing and tasking tactical intelligence operations. He appears frequently on television news programs and in national newspapers, magazines, and journals. For the Rethinking Seminar, Dr. Friedman will consider: The future geopolitical strategic environment, who the rising powers are, what sorts of alliances might occur, whether or not conflict is likely, if conflict occurs what form would it take, and therefore, what sorts of forces are required for the US to be prepared for potential conflict.

3. NEW REGISTRATION SYSTEM: To overcome some limitations and problems with our previous on line registration system, we have upgraded the system. Unfortunately, those who had created a profile under the previous system will need to create a new profile. This new, simpler registration should take less than a minute.

· Under New Users: Create a Profile select Create a User Profile Now
· You will be asked to fill in the following information:
o User Name: Please use your preferred email address, First Name, Last Name, Email Address – Should match User Name, Password: Your choice of at least 7 characters, Prefix – Rank: (MR / MS / PROF / DR / etc or Military Rank), Organization: Office / command / etc. – could also be consultant / independent.
