Historically Speaking, a bi-monthly publication featuring lively essays, interviews, and forum will be featuring a special forum this spring on writing history "without a license," featuring Adam Hochschild, H.W. Brands, Joseph Ellis, Felipe Fernández-Armesto, John Ferling, Thomas Fleming, John Lukacs, Louis Masur, Jay Winik, and many others. This forum is an expansion on a piece written by Hochschild in the March/April 2008 edition of Historically Speaking titled “Do You Need a License to Practice History?”
